According to the British Ministry of Defence, the Russian military, struggling in the face of a Ukrainian counterattack, is now increasing its strikes on civilian infrastructure.
“Russia is increasingly targeting civilian infrastructure, even where it sees no immediate military effect.” According to the British Ministry of Defence, Russia has stepped up attacks on Ukrainian civilian targets over the past seven days.

The Ukrainian electricity grid and the Karatsouniv reservoir were specifically targeted by the missile strikes.
