In about seven months, Apple will unveil the next generation of iPhones. However, a new rumor suggests that the company will add 8GB of RAM to the iPhone 14 Pro.
This information comes from user “yeux1122” at Korean Blog Naver (via Mac rumors). Although they don’t have a long track record with regards to Apple – as they were half right about the iPad mini 6 – the user quotes “local supply chain sources” to say the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro will have 8GB of RAM to match New Samsung device. Galaxy S22 phone.
Although Apple has never gotten into a RAM battle with other manufacturers, it makes sense for the company to make a leap on iPhone memory in 2022. The next iPhone is also rumored. To include the highest megapixel camera sensor everDevices will still need more RAM.
Additionally, supply chain analyst Jeff Boo of Haitong International Securities recently confirmed these rumors that the iPhone 14 Pro will actually have 8GB of RAM.
Since Bo said in a previous report That the iPhone 14 would have two features similar to the iPhone 13 Pro — ProMotion and 6GB of RAM — it would make sense for Apple to differentiate between Pro devices with more RAM and larger sensors.
The iPhone 14 Pro is also rumored to feature an all-new design with a punch-hole and tablet slots instead of the regular notch, with Apple planning to hide some sensors under the display.
