The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu entered the emergency department at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer on Saturday afternoon after feeling unwell.

According to sources from the Sheba Medical Center, the prime minister lost consciousness while at his home in Caesarea and fell as a result, hitting his head. It was said that he was also suffering from chest pain.

He was taken to the emergency room from his home in Caesarea, in the north of the country. However, he was fully conscious upon arrival at the hospital near downtown Tel Aviv.

He is said to be in good condition and is undergoing a brain scan to ensure his brain was not damaged by the fall, as well as a scan to ensure his heart rhythm is normal.

One of his sons, Avner Netanyahu, is said to have been in the hospital with him, and his wife, Sara Netanyahu, is also on the way.
