We feared the worst. This is twice. The occupants of the car died at the scene of the accident on the A1 Jura road towards Geneva, shortly before the Wengeron interchange, this Sunday morning. Joanna Matta, spokesperson for Geneva’s cantonal police, notes that this is “the fourth fatal accident on Geneva roads in 2022, bringing the death toll to five”. “A section of the highway between Koppet and the airport is closed to Geneva-bound traffic,” he added.
