“It never occurred to me that people wouldn’t believe me,” she wrote, adding that she nonetheless “knew the truth and indisputable truths will prevail.”
Pete accused Lenz of shooting her after she ran out of a car they were in after an argument in the summer of 2020. Pete said she still struggles with anxiety but is in a “happier place” now thanks to journaling, prayer, and setting boundaries with who she lets into her life. She’s also working on new music.
“I’m ready to show everyone that all the dirt they threw at me didn’t stick,” she said.
