Russian army loses 900 soldiers in 24 hours, Ukraine says

Strikes in the South
In the past 24 hours, several Russian attacks in Ukraine have killed at least three people and wounded four others, particularly in the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Kryvyi Rik, Ukrainian authorities announced Saturday.
On Friday evening, a bomber killed one person and wounded another in a residential area in Kryvyï Rig, Dnipropetrovsk region, the National Police said. Another person died in an explosion in the city of Nikopol, located on the banks of the Dnieper River, about 100 kilometers east of Krivi Rik, the regional administration said.
Further south, in Kherson region, a series of strikes since Friday morning have left one dead and another injured, according to national authorities.

Second American journalist in jail
