Here’s an update on the situation in Gaza, where the war has changed dimensions since Friday evening. For more details, check out our complete article on the subject.

🔹 Israeli bombing during the night was less than the previous night. They are concentrated near Beit Hanoun in the northeast of the Gaza Strip. The troops are said to be moving towards Gaza City after entering the enclave overnight. The fight on the ground is still going on.

🔹 The Israeli army has now called on Palestinians to move to the southern Gaza Strip, where the situation is safe and humanitarian aid is due to increase today, administered by Egypt and the United States.

🔹 After more than 36 hours of blackout, Internet access has started to return in Gaza, monitoring group NetBlock and Palestinian Telecom reported. Yesterday, NGOs shared their concerns about the disconnection of communication with their teams in the field and health institutions.

🔹 This is not a peace: Despite calls by the international community for a humanitarian ceasefire, the Israeli government remains deaf. Last night Benjamin Netanyahu warned that “the war in Gaza will be long and hard.”
