Kanye West He’s been wearing a lot of black lately, but he’s thinking blue for his future…at least when it comes to putting on a logo for his clothing line.
Ye introduced two new trademarks, acquired by TMZ, for a weird blue design he hopes to lock in as a logo. It’s unclear what motivated the logo… It’s a solid blue circle surrounded by another blue circle with jagged edges.
Interestingly enough, Kanye placed an order for another version of the logo in July, one without the blue… but it seems he’s changed his mind.

However, this time the docs state that “blue color(s) is/claimed as a feature of the mark”. Kanye fans may recognize that the shade of blue is a bit similar to the same color he used on the “Jesus is King” album… but we can’t see any connection between the album and the logo.
As for logo use, the documents say it will be for retail stores, online ordering services, and online retail store services including apparel, footwear, and headwear.
TMZ broke the story, Ye recently submitted documents to get a file A trademark of “YZYSPLY” For retail stores – so it’s always possible for a new logo and stores to go hand in hand.
