iPhone 15 Pro latest updates on LEAKS: Powerful 3nm chipset, USB-C and more

iPhone 15 Pro latest updates about leaks: The latest leak points to the possibility of a 3nm chipset that offers superior performance.

It’s been less than a week since the iPhone 14 series is expected to break at the launch event on September 7. Compared with the iPhone 13 Series, the iPhone 14 series itself will bring some major upgrades to core areas, except for One Performance interface. Unlike previous years where Apple paid a lot of attention to the overall performance of the chipsets, the iPhone 14 series may see only minor upgrades in that issue. Its successor, the iPhone 15 series, may tease those who want higher performance.

In fact, it’s been more than a year since the launch of the iPhone 15 and we already know some parts about the iPhone 15 series. From the arrangement of the camera to the internal processor, the iPhone 15 Pro already looks like a massive upgrade over its predecessor. If you’re willing to wait for the iPhone 14 generation and wonder if investing in the iPhone 15 Pro would make sense, we make it easy for you. Here are all the leaked details we know about the iPhone 15 Pro.

iPhone 15 Pro leaks: Bigger upgrades for 2023?

3nm next generation processor

TSMC will be able to mass-produce 3nm chips from late 2023 and this gives apple Perfect opportunity to use 3nm chips in iPhone 15 Pro series. Rumors suggest that the 3nm manufacturing process will give the Apple A17 chip a huge leap in performance and power efficiency over the rumored 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Samsung Galaxy S23 series as well as other major Android phones. The iPhone 14 Pro’s A16 Bionic chip may arrive in regular iPhone 15 variants this year.

New Periscope Lens for Zoom Camera

The iPhone 15 Pro is also said to have received a new periscope lens arrangement for the telephoto camera. There are no details about the image sensor, but the arrangement of the periscope lens can allow an optical zoom of up to at least 5X. Apple can go all out and settle on a 10x optical lens arrangement to beat the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It’s unlikely Apple will make any changes to the iPhone 14 Pro’s new 48-megapixel main camera and new ultra-wide-angle image sensor.

USB-C on iPhone

As EU regulations look to mandate a USB-C port from 2024, Apple could ditch the Lightning port and switch to USB-C on its iPhone lineup. This could allow Apple to offer much better compatibility with multiple USB-C chargers. Additionally, it can allow for benefits such as faster data transfer speeds and faster charging solutions.
