Harrison Ford isn’t leaving acting anytime soon. the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny The star is opening up about his future and retirement is not a possibility.
While being interviewed by Chris Wallace, A.J CNN The host asked Ford if he was retiring because the actor is 81 years old.
“I don’t do a good job when I don’t have a job,” Ford said. “I like to work… I like to feel useful. It’s Jones, I want to be useful.”
Wallace went on and asked him what he liked about acting so much, and the star told him, “It’s the people you’re going to work with. The intensity and the intimacy of the collaboration… It’s the shared aspiration, somehow shaped by the words on the page. I don’t plan out what I want to do in a scene nor I feel compelled to do anything but I am naturally influenced by the things I’m working on.”
Ford may not retire from acting but he will retire from playing Indiana Jones. The actor said that the last time he will play an archaeologist will be in the future Destiny asked.
“This is the last movie in the series, and this is the last time I get to play the character,” said Ford. Total movie magazine. “I expect it will be the last time he appears in a movie.”
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Due for release on June 30, 2023, it stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas, and John Rhys-Davies.
