She wants to settle down “Leader of European Conservatives”. The head of the Italian government, Giorgia Meloni, announced on Sunday April 28 that she will contest the European elections on the list of her far-right party Fratelli d'Italia.

“We want to do in Europe exactly what we did in Italy on September 25, 2022: create a majority that unites the forces of the right to send the left into opposition even in Europe”, announced the head of government. His post-fascist party came out on top with 26% of the vote in the 2022 election, gaining popularity among voters' expressed voting intentions ahead of the June 6-9 referendum.

“I do it because I want to ask Italians if they are satisfied with the work we are doing in Italy and what we are doing in Europe.Did she say I do it because Fratelli d'Italia is president and the leader of European conservatives who want to play a decisive role in changing European politics.
