Security was tightened at the entrance to Hampton Island in Georgia on Saturday, as workers began arriving early to prepare Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck walking down the aisle On his farm later in the day.
Two security guards sat at the entrance to the island, checking IDS for anyone entering Affleck’s 87-acre property.
Once checked, they handed out white paper wrist bands, with the police officer sitting nearby in a car labeled Liberty County Sheriff.
Workers were seen arriving in suits hanging from the passenger side window in the back, along with a few trucks arriving just after 11:30 a.m., among them a truck branded by Savannah Vintage, a lighting and furniture company.

They have already engaged way back in 2002but divorced in 2004. Affleck, 50, married actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he had three children – Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and Samuel, 10 – and Lopez, 53, eventually marrying singer Marc Anthony, with whom she had Twins, Amy and Max, 14 years old.
A neighbor told The Post that preparations for Three-day wedding It has been going on since July. “It is nonstop,” said the neighbor. “Basically food and equipment. They were hauling dirt, tents, and horses. Lots of horses.”
“They used to be here a lot back in the day,” said neighbor Richard Dasher, 49, referring to the Hollywood couple. “They used to go in and out.”
“I know they’ve been working on it for four months,” he said of the wedding, adding that he’s a “good friend” with a bouncer at the property.
One worker told The Post he had been working on the property since March. He said, “Man, I was working behind me on that property.” “I was cleaning up, cutting down trees, bushes, anything blocking the view of the lake and the house.”
Dasher told The Post that a display of unmarked trucks and vans has made its way onto the property over the past week.
“It doesn’t matter,” said another neighbor, who asked not to be identified. “They are just people like us. I love them and their profession. They are good at what they do but I am not surprised. I know they have done a lot of cleaning and hired some along.”
The neighbor said her mother met Affleck about 15 years ago.
“She was a star. She said, ‘Hello, how are you?’ He said, ‘I’m fine and you?’
Joey Norris, a Riceborough resident, said he’d like to meet Lopez.
“They tried it once before, right? I fell out of love. Better luck this time.”
