Galax is showing their GPU series only in China
The company has confirmed the full specifications of the new RTX 40 series.
As we mentioned yesterday, NVIDIA tends to omit some specs when revealing new cards. This is how we end up learning Exact mold size for AD102 Through the PNY website. While the specs for the RTX 40 series certainly came as no surprise, it was still good to see confirmation of the unreleased graphics card specs.
In this case, GALAX confirms the exact GPU variants used by all three new models:
- GeForce RTX 4090: M 102 – 300
- GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Card: AD103-300
- GeForce RTX 4080 12GB: AD104-400
This means that NVIDIA is already releasing three different GPUs in a few weeks, but it is also surprising that the smallest Ada GPU to date (AD104) is not part of the 4070 series. Instead, the company has launched two RTX 4080 models with completely different specifications, Which is confusing to say the least.
All GALAX RTX 40 graphics cards will feature a 12VHPWR power connector and matching display connector layout (3xDP, 1x HDMI). The highest RTX 4080 recorded so far appears to be from GALAX, said to be at 2,685MHz. Other companies are less hesitant to confirm the hours yet.
