Five people, including a child, were injured in the stabbing

The alleged perpetrator was known by Swiss police as “suffering from mental disorders”.

On Thursday evening, July 11, a 34-year-old man attacked five people with a knife in a building in Saint-Gall, Switzerland, according to a press release from the cantonal police.

A resident of the building suddenly assaulted a 29-year-old pregnant woman on the stairs. This young woman has come to see her father. The latter came to his aid and was severely beaten by the alleged attacker, police said.
