Spoiler alert: don’t read in advance if you haven’t watched season 9, episode 6 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired March 22 on Fox.

You better be prepared, ready to… jump! Turn off Masked Singer. Actress Holly Robinson Peete, known for “21 Jump Street” among other things, was one of two celebrities to reveal the mask on Wednesday for the issue of “The Masked Singer.” Also: WWE superstar Alexa Bliss, who made headlines this week for revealing that she has skin cancer, and recently underwent surgery on it.

As for Axolotl, panelist Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg got it right, naming it Alexa Bliss (real names are Alexis Kaufman and Alexis “Lexi” Cabrera). Robin Thicke guessed Nikki Bella. Ken Jeong thought it was Brie Bella. Nicole Scherzinger chose McKayla Maroney.

As for the Fairy, nobody guessed Robinson Betty. Scherzinger went with Tracee Ellis Ross, McCarthy-Wahlberg thought it was Corrine Foxx, Thicke chose Laurie Harvey and Jeong went with Jennifer Aniston.

Like last season, “The Masked Singer” once again adopted the “Champion of Masked Singer” format. In each episode, three costumed celebrities will perform, but only one will win and move on to compete again the following week. After each round, three contestants will compete in the semi-finals.

This means that one contestant will be revealed midway through the episode, with the top two singers facing off in a “battle royal”. After Bliss, Axolotl was the first to be revealed, leaving Fairy and Macaw facing “That Don’t Impress Me Much” by Shania Twain. Fairy received fewer votes and Robinson Peete was unmasked. Macaw moves on to next week’s episode.

Holly Robinson Peete as Fairy and Alexa Bliss as Axolotl joins Lele Pons as Jackalope, Malin Akerman as Squirrel, Michael Bolton as Wolf, Grandmaster Flash as Polar Bear, Debbie Gibson as Night Owl, And Howie Mandel as the Rock Lobster, Sara Evans as the Mustang and Dick Van Dyke as the gnome as the celebrities unmasking this season.

It was “Country Night,” and the episode featured guest appearances by country music star Diana Carter, comedian Bill Engvall and NFL star Robert Woods, who each gave their own take on the Macaw, Fairy, and Axolotl (respectively).

New this season is “Ding Dong Keep It On”. In the new twist to the competition, panelists will have the opportunity to save a singer from imminent elimination, but the bell can only be rung three times during the first three rounds. These three singers will face off in a special episode in a battle to get back into the competition. On Wednesday, the bell did not rung.

The Masked Singer enters Season 9 with 21 contestants including Mustang, Axolotl, California Roll, Dandelion, Moose, Gargoyle, Jackalope, Doll, Polar Bear, Night Owl, “Rock Lobster,” “Gnome,” “Macaw,” “Squirrel,” “Wolf,” and more to be announced. Tim Chappelle is costume designer this season.

Season 9 contestants boast 28 Emmy nominations, 6 Grammy Awards, 10 gold albums, four Golden Globe nominations, five medals, 26 books, two Tony Award nominations, five Lifetime Achievement Awards, and four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, selling a total of 95,231,000 records.” Season 9 will present All-new episodes, including “ABBA,” “New York,” “DC Superheroes,” “Sesame Street,” “80s Night,” “Movie Night,” and more.

Audio commentary package: “It feels good to get a title shot last week. Linda is a dear friend, so I had to do justice to her songs. They’ve been rooting for me since I was 13. You see, music is a big part of my life and I love every second that I’m in.” Onstage. But two new contenders are looking forward to bringing me home. I say, Bring it on. I’m so excited ’cause tonight’s country night. There’s just something about country music sticking in your ribs. Tonight, I’m singing a song I loved as a little girl, by an artist I’m still looking forward to It’s truly a classic in my book, as is this new guide. [A book that says ‘Fairy’s Tales.’] Any guesses?

previous song: “You’re No Good” by Linda Ronstadt

Previous painting guesses: Tracee Ellis Ross, Angelina Jolie, Rashida Jones

Nick Cannon and Xolotel, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Baker/Fox)
Dad’s House

Axolotl (Alexa Bliss)

an idea: NFL star Robert Woods carries a helmet with “2.3 million” written on it. “That’s how many people watch me when I’m working, and that’s only on Mondays.”

Audio commentary package: “I’m so excited to be part of your world on Country Night as Axolotl. Exo what? I had to Google it too. He’s vocal, but she’s so cute and boisterous, just like me. But while I’m confident about all of that now, it took time.” Too long to get here. As a kid I was so bullied, I had to transfer schools. They made me feel so small and I let their words eat me up so much, that’s what I stopped doing – eating. I almost decayed. Until one day during my darkest moment, I heard a song It helped me heal. I fell in love with the voice, and eventually love the man. It helped me realize that the only way my life would ever be a perfect ten was to build myself up instead of tearing myself down. Now I’m definitely not the best singer to ever get to that stage, But I promise I will embrace my inner diva and have the most fun. XO XO!”

Macaw, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Baker/Fox)
Dad’s House

Macau (winner)

Song: “Live Like You’re Dying,” by Tim McGraw

an ideaSinger Diana Carter presented her with a silver medal. “I didn’t get gold until after I left the nest.”

Audio commentary package: “I’m so excited to become a Macau, because it’s everything I’m not. Flashy, confident, and sings country songs. Even though I’ve been gigging from an early age, it definitely didn’t start out as a passion. My dad would bribe me with quesadillas to perform at our local Mexican restaurant.” Eventually, I spread my wings in larger stages. But the pressure of always being a good son brought me a lot of anxiety. But somewhere in the journey of melted cheese and panic attacks, I learned to take breaks and reset. What started as a way to make my parents happy, turned into What fills me with joy. This is the year I decided to be brave not only on stage but in my private life. So, this seems like the perfect opportunity to showcase my newfound courage.”
