Epic made a demo of the Rivian R1T to show off the latest Unreal Engine 5 tools

In 2020, Epic Games went public for the first time. Nearly three years later, gamers are still waiting for the technology to go mainstream. In the demo, I gave the Epic R1T an opal body to show how a substrate can allow layers of different materials to interact with each other without creating lighting elements. The demo was also a showcase for Epic’s new suite of procedural content creation tools. It allows artists to create expanded and highly detailed levels from a small selection of handcrafted assets.
