Denzel Washington He says he immediately turned to God after Chris Rock Oscar slap – that’s partly why he called a villain when chatting with him will Smith.

He adds, “Conversely, when the devil comes to you, it may be because you tried to do something right. And for whatever reason the devil had seized him that night.” Denzel also explains that others were quick to step in and take care of Will as well – who apparently felt he needed spiritual advice – including Tyler Perry …who prayed with them both.
Denzel refused to reveal what exactly was said between the trio, but said this… “There but for God’s sake, go either of us. Who are we to condemn? I don’t know all the entrances and exits but I know the only solution is prayer.”
