Three weeks into the 2022 college football regular season remain, which means team races heat up, Conference Championship photos are blurred, and teams legitimately qualified for the college football game dwindle with each passing Saturday. This will be the case again in Week 11 as many of the top 25 showdowns are set to illustrate these scenarios.
The most notable showdowns come from the SEC as LSU #7 will be hoping to avoid reversing its thrilling overtime win against Alabama when it visits Arkansas. Although the Tigers suddenly became the talk of the nation in their first year under coach Brian Kelly, their grip on SEC West is tenuous. LSU will need to win to secure a place in the SEC Championship game (most likely against Georgia No. 1), and that starts with avoiding road disruption against an Arkansas team that can play anyone.
Speaking of Tides #9, unless there is an absolute miracle, their hopes for the SEC and CFP have been dashed. That’s not the case for the 11th seed Ole Miss, who hosts Alabama in the SEC on CBS Game of the Week as Rebels coach Lane Kiffin looks forward to his first win over Nick Saban. Against the tide, the Rebels still have a chance of winning the SEC West title. The Ole Miss will have to defeat Alabama to position herself, although she will also need LSU to take the L as the regular season ends.
Saturday night is the mega showdown of 12 as TCU #4’s newly minted #18 in Texas in perhaps the toughest test left over the last three weeks. The Longhorns played better in the second half of the season, and with former Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson on the staff as an analyst, they’re sure to be aware of what TCU brings to the table. If the Frogs can get past the Horns, only Baylor and Iowa State remain at the TCU center in the playoff.

Odds via Caesars Sportsbook | All times are oriental
Missouri at No. 5 Tennessee
Featured game | Tennessee Volunteers vs Missouri Tigers
nun | CBS, CBSSports.comAnd the CBS Sports . app – Apart from a confusing loss of 12-40 at Kansas State In the second week, Missouri was excellent defensively. Even in that game, the Tigers only allowed 336 yards as they were held back by a 4-to-1 deficit in a turnover margin. The last seven Missouri games have ended within the confines of this spread, and the Tigers should be able to keep things respectable again here. Missouri is capped at 100 nationwide in margin trading, but that should be reversed at some point. If the Tigers keep their spin issues in check, they’ll keep the match close. Prediction: Missouri +21 – David Cope
No. 7 LSU in Arkansas
Featured game | Arkansas Razorbacks vs. LSU Tigers
nun | ESPN, fuboTV (try for free)– Spotting disappointment on the road against a talented opponent is a natural chance for a trap game, but KJ Jefferson’s case makes the chance of a crash all the more fragile. LSU has played inspiring football since its early losses to Tennessee And the FloridaAnd there is little reason to expect a team coached by Brian Kelly not to play good, basic football in a crucial game with the hopes of the CFP. Prediction: LSU -3 – Sheehan Jiraj
No. 9 Alabama at No. 11 Ole Miss
Featured game | Ole Miss Rebels vs Alabama Crimson Tide
3:30 PM | CBS, CBSSports.comAnd the CBS Sports . app – Take the Ole Miss and the points, but you won’t need them because the Rebels earn that point right away. The rushing, multi-dimensional Rebel attack would bring early success, pulling Alabama defenders into the penalty area, and Jaxson Dart would hit shots over the top. At the same time, the Ole Miss’s defense would be successful enough to gain pressure that would put Alabama behind the sticks. That’s bad news for an Alabama team that wasn’t so fragile on the road. Prediction: Ole Miss +12 – Barrett Sally
No. 1 Georgia in Mississippi
Featured game | Mississippi Bulldogs vs Georgia Bulldogs
7 pm | ESPN, fuboTV (try for free)– Mississippi State failed to cover the spread in three straight games while Georgia appears to have peaked here in the most crucial part of the season. Georgia’s defense has been above par AlabamaCrimson Tide scored the way to the Mississippi crime closure this year. I think the Athens-based Bulldogs would be able to do the same. Prediction: Georgia -16 – Chip Patterson
No. 4 TCU in No. 18 Texas
Featured game | Texas Longhorns vs. TCU Horned Frogs
7:30 PM | ABC, fuboTV (try for free)– The Longhorns do well in most analytics systems thanks to a close game against Alabama and blowing up the Oklahoma team without a quarterback. However, the Longhorns also have losses Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, along with a close match against Iowa. One of these teams knows how to finish matches, and the boys are dressed in purple. Prediction: TCU +7 – Jiargah
