Christina Aguilera wants to age beautifully.
This is why the Genie In A Bottle singer gets anti-wrinkle injections.
And the 42-year-old star from Staten Island, New York loves the process so much that she now represents Xeomin, an anti-wrinkle injection used to improve the appearance of frown lines.
The blonde pin-up — which former enemy Pink recently teased — has become a brand partner for the Beauty on Your Terms campaign, and it’s been shared with the people. “I really do feel more self-confident as you get older,” she said.
In the past, GOOP founder Gwyneth Paltrow has worked with the company.
“I’m always interested in finding new products that excite me and make me feel my best,” Aguilera shared with the site.
Xeomin felt like the safer way to go because it doesn’t contain any additional ingredients. She is reassuring that no matter how tired I am, I have support.
She said she feels the injections help make her look younger with a “natural look”.
The mother-of-two added, “We love expression, especially in my line of work. I don’t want to have a frozen face. Whether it’s on camera or on stage, I have to stay true to my feelings.
She also wants women to feel confident as they get older.
“Taking aging as a negative is the super old-school approach,” Aguilera tells the site.
I have seen myself going through different phases of my life and complaining about certain things.
“As I get older, I look back, and I say, ‘Oh my God, every stage is a new era. “
I really do feel more self-confident as you get older. This is the thing to really embrace. when it is harmful [aging] becomes an obsession.
She added: ‘I also think everyone has a different view of how they age. It’s a very personal conversation – what works for some people may not work for others.
Now she is happy with her appearance.
Things will change as you get older — especially when you’re a woman. I started performing at about six in my hometown, and I never stopped.
“Being in the public eye is an additional element that can complicate your view of yourself. People will have an opinion no matter what you do, no matter what you wear. Art has always come first for me.
