Spoilers are waiting for the tenth season premiere of the series Chicago BDcalled “Let It Bleed”.
Chicago BD It’s back at NBC for season 10 as the only Chicago show with an instant jump, though — as showrunner Gwen Seguin revealed when discussing How ‘chaotic’ the dynamics will be – Just two weeks later. Voight was still reeling from Anna’s death afterwards The disastrous finale of the ninth seasonAnd his inability to come to terms with it was affecting the entire unit…especially Halstead and Upton. The two married detectives weren’t exactly fighting in “Let In Bleed,” but they also weren’t at their best. The viewer spoke with CinemaBlend about their dynamics, and how the struggle with Voight will continue.
The dynamic between these three characters Transformed and evolved in the ninth season After the death of Roy Walton and Halstead steps to stop the FBI investigation before it eliminates Upton and Voight. Halstead and Voight are on more equal footing as of Season 10, but Upton has questioned Voight’s judgment so much that he becomes a villain when he plays Torres (played by the returning guest star and Benjamin Levi Aguilar’s new regular series) in danger.
They had a meeting where Voight stated that they couldn’t continue this way if they all wanted to continue working together. After Upton and Halstead were left alone together, Halstead asked his wife if they were “good guys”. “Of course,” she quickly told her husband, and then asked him the same question. He had the same answer as hers. Upstead seems to be reiterating that they’re still a team, but the episode isn’t quite over with them heading into the sunset together. So, what’s up with Upstead?
I asked Gwen Seguin how their relationship was affected by the end of the season 10 premiere, and the model shared:
Unfortunately, what’s happening with Upstead in this case isn’t that it’s the image of home happiness bleeding into work. On the plus side, the showrunner has made it clear (more than once) that Upton and Halstead really love each other, and the performances of Tracy Spiridacus and Jesse Lee Souffer in the final scene of the premiere suggest that the characters are still all together. (Spiridakos . was Sweet message to her husband on the screen A few weeks before the premiere.)
Soffer’s upcoming departure as Halstead poses major questions about their dynamics, however, big Changes are bound to happen in season 10 Because of that. Season 10 theme “The Savior” and its relationship to characters who see themselves broken (such as Explained by Gwen Seguin and two PD stars) also raises questions about how the fallout might affect Voight as well as Upstead. Presenter focused on whether the three would be able to work together to move career forward after all:
Many fans can vividly remember when Halstead finally captured Voight and punched him in the face Last season after he dropped some comments about Upton, so much has changed for them that they are now “very close”. They have always had a distinct dynamic within the intelligence, and it wasn’t long before Voight told Halstead that the unit would be his one day. So how does this changing relationship affect them? Follow Seguin:
It is clear that this dynamic between Halstead and Voight will continue through Soffer’s remaining episodes. Since no one from One Chicago or Wolf Entertainment has confirmed how Soffer will be written, we can only speculate at the moment how Voight and Upton will be affected when Halstead is not around on a daily basis.
