It all goes back to Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks. The second round streak was as interesting as expected, with both teams trading in six straight games. Both teams have only one chance to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals as the Series Final will take place on Sunday at TD Garden. The winner advances to face the top-ranked Miami Heat. The Celtics outperformed the Bucks 31-21 in the third quarter despite Jason Tatum sitting four fouls, and taking a 79-64 late-term.
In a battle between two of the league’s top superstars, Tatum (46 points, nine rebounds, four assists) and Antetokounmue (44 points, 20 rebounds, six assists) put in their best efforts in Game Six, but the Celtics were the best. He prevailed 108-95 until the series and avoided elimination. Marcus Smart recovered after a rough fifth game with an impeccable showing of 21 points and zero turnover. Boston would have the advantage of the local stadiums, but the defending champions were near perfect in close matches (8-1) under Mike Budenholzer. Robert Williams will also return after missing three matches due to knee pain.
