ann heck Ex-husband Colle Lavon said their son Homer, 20, is “strong” and will be “fine” in an emotional message after her death on Friday.

“I loved her, miss her and will always go to her,” she said to Vaughn in a video posted to Instagram. “Homer is fine. He’s sad of course. He’s tough, he really is as tough as anyone can imagine. But he’s surrounded by family and he’s strong and he’ll be fine.”

Lavon thanked those who checked in to see how he and Homer were doing amid Heche’s hospitalization after a fatal car crash in Los Angeles on August 5 and her death Friday.

“You check in, show us your heart,” he said to Vaughn, “pray for us a prayer and everything, so beautiful, thank you.” “It’s hard for me, it’s hard for my family, it’s hard for Homer. But we have each other and we have a lot of support and we’ll be fine.”

Holding back tears, he continued, “She was brave and brave and loved deeply and was never afraid to tell us what you think and what you believe in, and love has always been. It was all about love. She also has a son, Atlas, 13, with actor James Tupper, with whom she was from 2007 to 2018.

Homer paid tribute to his mother on Friday. “My brother Atlas and I lost our mother. After six days of almost unbelievable emotional upheaval, I left a deep, silent grief. I hope my mother is free of pain and begins to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom,” Homer said in a statement to Fox News Digital. .
