During an interview with colliderthe actress hinted that Dr. Gharib The sequel may not be the last we see of Wanda Maximoff (although it may be a much darker ending to the Crimson Ego).

“I sign the extensions every time they want me to make a movie,” she said of her Marvel contract. “I just signed a very short one at first, so it’s always fine, he’s always fitting in with me. No, I don’t think that’s the end.”

While the Doctor Strange sequel hints at a more definitive end to the previous heroine, it looks like she may be back yet.

After spending the entire movie trying to reunite her two sons, Billy and Tommy, she changes her mind and realizes the evil she has done with the help of Darkhold – the sinister ancient script she finds in the finale of Wandavision.

She appears to sacrifice herself to destroy all copies of the book throughout the multiverse, burying herself and Mount Wundagore in the process.

“I have no idea. I don’t know what I want. I know I want it to matter. There’s no reason to keep telling these stories unless they’re really strong and good stories, and they add something to the entirety of the MCU. I’ll be there if there’s a great idea.”

It remains to be seen if Wanda Maksimov makes a comeback or not. However, even if I did, it probably wouldn’t be for a while.
