In eastern Ukraine, two elderly people died “due to artillery fire” in the town of Doretsk in the Donetsk region, the prosecutor general said. In the south, in the Odesa region, three people were wounded by a Russian strike, local governor Oleg Kiber said.

On the first anniversary of Kherson’s liberation, Volodymyr Zelensky tweeted thanks to the soldiers on X (formerly Twitter) and called to remember “all those who gave their lives for the future of this country.”
