For one hour, “Le Figaro magazine” was able to talk about the most controversial issue in American politics. Since the late 1980s, he has been pushing Donald Trump to enter politics.

If you don’t know Roger Stone — and if you didn’t have time to watch the incredible documentary about him on Netflix in 2017 — know this: Without him, Donald Trump would never have been president of the United States.

Richard Nixon’s former eminence cry in 1972, briefly mentioned in the Watergate investigation, co-creator of the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC, or nick-back) for Reagan and a founding member of the lobbying firm Black, Manafort and Stone. For many American journalists, he is a mysterious, controversial, and fictional character whose name appears at many key moments in modern American political history.

So if this same Roger Stone finally responds to our requests with a simple “see you at my place at 11am”, there we go…
