Heatwave in Canada – Lytton, the village of all records, wiped out by fire

Date:

The smallest village in British Columbia, located about 260 kilometers northeast of Vancouver, has a temperature of 46.6. Broke with C.

Lytton was removed from the menu on Thursday, July 1, by flirting with the heat record for Canada and the city’s temperature record of 45 north latitude with 50 C.

The smallest village in British Columbia, located about 260 kilometers northeast of Vancouver, has a temperature of 46.6. Broke with C. Highest temperature ever recorded in Canada. An old record taken at two stations in the state of Saskatchewan in 1937 – 45 C has decayed.

But those heat recordings led to disaster. This is because a devastating wildfire has erupted in the area, especially around Lytton.

The eviction order fell on Tuesday evening: Lytton Mayor John Boulderman, in a message to his members, asked to leave the city and seek shelter.

Another view of the disaster in Lytton was that these people jumped in their car and drove it out. You can see the flames spreading, the dry conditions, the smoke. Just horrible NEWS1130 pic.twitter.com/4uOf40yj1b
