UK boy, 11, gets highest possible IQ score

Date:

Awesome, Kido!

Eleven-year-old Englishman Yusuf Shah took a Mensa IQ test on a whim – and scored the highest possible score of 162, according to local news reports.

It is estimated that Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking had an IQ of around 160.

“Everyone at school thinks I’m very smart, and I always wanted to know if I was in the top 2% of people who took the test,” said a sixth grader from Leeds. Yorkshire Evening Post.

According to the report, Shah, a student at Wigton Moore Elementary School, passed the test.

The family celebrated with Nando’s Portuguese chicken.

Shah and his parents decided he would prepare for the Mensa test while preparing for high school applications, which included similar material.

“It is a tough test,” his father, Irrfan Shah, told the newspaper. “We did what we were already doing – nothing specific to the IQ test.”

“I keep telling him that ‘your father is still smarter than you.’ … We take it all cheerfully. Even if you are talented, you have to be the hardest worker,” said the father.

Joseph’s father jokes, “I keep telling him that your father is still smarter than you.” ”

Yusef – who wants to study mathematics at the universities of Oxford or Cambridge – showed signs of genius from a young age, Irfan told Leeds Live.

“Even in nursery school, we just noticed he was doing the alphabet and things faster than the other kids,” said the proud father, “but you would have thought some kids might pick up the alphabet a little bit faster.”

“He has this natural flair for mathematics, and I think that’s when we kind of realized. Even his teachers at his school, every time we get school reports, they are amazing, they say, ‘There is nothing for us to teach him.’”
