Tom Brady He used to set new records but he didn’t want to.

The 45-year-old became the most underrated quarterback player in NFL history during Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-22 defeat against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football.

Brady was fired twice at the end of the first half to equalize and then break the record previously held by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

In fact, it’s no surprise that Brady has been the most sacked quarterback in NFL history since he’s been playing in the league for more than two decades, and it doesn’t affect his impressive legacy in the sport much.

Perhaps most troubling for the seven-time Super Bowl champion is that the Bucs have now lost three games in a row, the first time that has happened in Brady’s career since 2002.

It marks a new low in a tough season for both Brady and the Buccaneers.

“I don’t think you can erase what happened in the last eight weeks,” a dejected Brady, who went down in defeat, told reporters after the game.

“We have to dig deep, see what we’re all up to, come to work, try to improve ourselves and give ourselves a better chance of winning.”

Despite a nightmare season since coming out of retirement in March, Brady has reaffirmed his commitment to the Boss family amid rumors that a second retirement was imminent.

However, his performance on the field was not what we would expect from the greatest midfielder ever, but he was not helped by his team.

Between struggling communications with his offensive weapons, a porous offensive line and a faltering running game, the franchise’s problems escalate.

They had led 10-3 at the end of the first half on Thursday but the Ravens took complete control in the second half.

“We didn’t play well enough to win,” Brady added.

On the flip side, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson continued his strong performance streak, throwing twice and rushing for nearly 50 yards in the win improving Baltimore’s record to 5-3.
