It’s Wednesday morning. Which means it’s time to put the bow on the week that was the prize list.

And the prize itself, as usual, is the prize. There is no money. There is no cup. nothing. Other than the scanty release of dopamine for those who win.

And perhaps for one or more of those mentioned in the finalists.

Here’s the week three list of award winners, along with those who came close to winning something more than satisfied.

Attacking Player of the Week: Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

For the 14th time in 64 career games, Lamar Jackson had at least 100 yards passing and 100 yard rushing. He was also responsible for five touchdowns against a defense led by one of the greatest coaches of all time.

In three weeks, the 2019 MVP is putting himself in the conversation to get an end to his previous award. He appears to be as good as ever, and getting better.

Other Finalists: The Future of the Eagles Defonta Smith (eight catching, 169 yards, one touchdown); Jaguar quarterback Trevor Lawrence (262 passing yards, three touchdowns); Bear running backward Khalil Herbert (157 fast yards, 2 touchdowns); Eagles quarterback Galen Hurts (340 passing yards, three touchdowns); Hawks run backwards Cordaryl Patterson (141 dash, one touchdown).

Defensive Player of the Week: Cowboys Defensive End De Marcus Lawrence.

Lawrence led the Dallas defense with three sacks against the Giants. He achieved the highest level of his career, re-establishing himself as one of the best passing forwards in the game.

The other finalists: Bears Linebackers Ruchuan Smith (The interception that placed a game-winning field goal), the end of the defensive eagles Brandon Graham (2.5 bags) Black defensive back Jeff Okuda (detained Justin Jefferson to three catches and 14 yards).

Beginner of the Week: The Packers’ Future Romeo Dobbs.

The fourth-round pick in the 2022 draft may be the first choice in the Green Bay pass. He had eight assists on eight goals for 73 yards and a touchdown in a two-point win over Tampa Bay.

Through three games, Doubs is the team’s leading receiver with 14 catching and 137 yards.

Other Finalists: The Future of the Saints Chris Olaf (Nine grabs, 147 yards), Future of the Hawks Drake London (Three grabs, 54 yards, one touchdown), Colts receiver Gilani Woods (2 catches, 13 yards, 2 touchdowns), Jaguar full-back Devin Lloyd (Seven tackles, three protective passes, one interception).

Coach of the Week: Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel.

The Dolphins quickly adopted the quest through, swayed by the impressive confidence of their first-year coach. On Sunday, the Dolphins repeatedly took the best punches the Bills had to deliver, and still managed to turn up with enough points to win.

The statistical differences were staggering. Buffalo had the ball for more than 40 minutes. They gained 497 yards to hit 212. They had 90 total plays; Miami had 39.

But the Dolphins finished with 21 points, and the Bills with 19. Miami now has three wins, no losses.

The other finalists: Jaguar coach Doug Pederson, Eagles coach Nick Siriani, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski, Ravens coach John Harbo, Colts coach Frank Reich.

Play of the Week: Steelers Receiver George PickensOBJ style hunting.

In the first half of Thursday night’s game in Cleveland, the Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubesky Do What He Needs To Do – Trust that Georgia rookie George Pickens is open even if it looks like he’s not.

The ball came. Pickens twisted his body to grab him with one hand. this angle It makes it more impressive.

And while there is a file Sunday Night Catch 2014 from OBJ It will always be more remembered, arguably Pickens’ catch was better. First, he did not see the ball until the last moment; Beckham had time to track the pitch and get ready to hunt. Second, Pickens adjusted the momentum he was carrying in one direction and swings to make the catch. For Beckham, there was no change of direction.

Other Finalists: The Future of the Cowboy sir lambOne-handed landing hunting, Vikings receiver KJ OsborneGame winning landing catch, Bengals receiver Tyler BoydCaptured 56 yards to land, Jaguars ran back James Robinson50-yard touchdown running into fourth and one, Dolphin quarterback Toa Tagoviloa’45 yard throw for receiver Jaylen Waddell In the third and 22, the receiver Raiders Mac HollinsCatch 48 yards in 4th and 15th, putt punt.
