Google’s first launch smart watch It’s only a few days away now, and while we’ve already seen it thanks to the renders the company previously shared, there’s another chance for you to check it out up close in a new official video.
The Pixel Watch appears in all its glory in Google’s latest promotion showcasing its design. Its circular screen wraps all the way around the back, where we see the Gorilla Glass branding. So Corning certainly made the watch glass protection. Although it is unclear whether the back is covered with glass or not.
The right side of the Pixel Watch features a unique button and crown. We previously thought there would be two buttons on the side, but now that’s clearly not the case. The video also confirms that the crown is rotating, so it will likely act as a physical navigation button, just like the crown on the Apple Watch.
Elsewhere, we take a better look at the bracelet link system. The special band appears to be closing in on the dial with a rotating motion. Also featured in the video are a number of static and animated watch faces, including one bearing the Fitbit logo.
