Keeler Murray: Las Vegas police are investigating the incident in which a fan allegedly hit an NFL quarterback

Las Vegas authorities are investigating after a fan in Sunday’s game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Las Vegas Raiders hit an NFL player.

Amidst the chaos that followed the Cardinal’s faltering return to land to win the game, the video was filmed CNN’s KPNX Sports presenter Cameron Cox appears to be showing a spectator strike Arizona quarterback Killer Murray In his head as Murray celebrated with spectators in the stands.

Then it appears Murray is trying to confront the man but his teammates are tied up.

It is unclear if the man intended to communicate with Murray in this way, as it was a frantic scene in the end zone with several people trying to touch Murray.

A Las Vegas police spokesperson told CNN that police are now looking into a “battery call alleging that a spectator on the field hit a professional football player.”

A crime report has been made and an investigation is underway. Police said the suspect has not been identified.

CNN has reached out to the cardinals and the conquistadors.

Murray is in his fourth season in the NFL. He has been voted in the Pro Bowl for the past two seasons and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2019.

He has developed into one of the most dynamic midfielders in the league. In his three seasons in the NFL, he threw for 11,480 yards and 70 touchdowns as well as ran for 1,786 yards and 20 touchdowns.
