In typical BMW fashion, the luxury automaker wastes no time updating its regional lineup to include the 2024 X5 M and X6 M. The facelifted high-performance SUV is already showing up in several European countries, including France, Spain and Italy. Needless to say, a German component is also available, and we’ve maxed out this fully loaded X6 M competition.

With a starting price of €161,200, the X6 M LCI is about €17,000 more affordable than the XM. However, add nearly €30,000 in optional goods and we ended up with a final price of €190,560. The single Frozen Pure Gray metallic paint alone costs an extra €2,550, while those black wheels (818M model) 21″ front and 22″ in the rear cost an extra €400.

For the same amount of money, you can get the single upholstery made entirely of merino leather in ivory white and atlas grey. If you want the carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, that’s another €930.

Then we get to the really expensive options, the most important of which is the Comfort Package Plus which costs 4,900 euros. It combines soft-closing doors with ventilated and massaging front seats, an acoustic windshield, in-car fragrances, four-zone a/c, and tinted side windows. Then there is the Innovation package worth 3,150 euros with various driving and parking assistance systems. Throw in the €2,900 Travel Package, €2,450m Driver’s Package and the €850m Convenience Package, and you quickly realize just how much the X6 M Competition can get.

Separately, customers can also order M compound brakes with red or black brake calipers for 500 euros with black roof rails for 420 euros. Shadowline headlights cost an extra €350, while a garage opener will set you back €260. Other items include a carbon rear spoiler for €1,050, carbon side mirror caps for €900, and a Panoramic Sky Lounge roof for €900.

The carbon fiber hood and tow hook each cost €1,200. Last but not least, the Bowers & Wilkins audio system has a price of 4,050 euros. This is how you end up with the X6 M Competition, which costs around 190,000 euros.

If money is burning a hole in your pocket, an XM configurator can fetch close to €197,000, and we’re sure the XM Label Red will cross the €200,000 threshold at home in Germany.
